CAT & KITTEN PLANS

Affordable Preventive Care for Every Stage of Your Cat’s Life

Whether you’ve just adopted an energetic kitten or are caring for a beloved senior cat, routine preventive care is one of the best investments you can make in your pet’s health.

At Florida Aid to Animals, our Cat & Kitten Wellness Plans make it easier and more affordable to stay on top of your cat’s healthcare. By spreading preventive care throughout the year, you’ll always know your cat is receiving the exams, vaccines, parasite prevention, and health screenings they need to live a longer, healthier life.

Healthy cats start with preventive care.

WHY WELLNESS MATTERS

RESTRICTED BREEDS

Certain types of dog and cat breeds are considered captive wildlife, not domesticated pets.

Per Florida Law

Wolves and wolf-dog crosses, wild cats (lions, pumas, bobcats, etc.), raccoons, wild cat/housecat crosses, and other wild animals are not recommended as pets. However, if owned, captive-bred animals must be properly permitted through the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC). As such, different regulations apply to them.

Because there is no current rabies vaccine approved for these breeds by the FDA, Florida Aid to Animals doctors do not examine, treat, or vaccinate them for any diseases.

If you own one of the captive wildlife species listed above, please contact Aloha Pet and Bird Hospital.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Are wellness plans pet insurance?

No. Wellness plans are not pet insurance. They help cover routine preventive care like exams and vaccines.

Is my indoor cat really at risk?

Yes.

Even indoor cats benefit from regular examinations and preventive healthcare. Many diseases—including kidney disease, dental disease, diabetes, hyperthyroidism, and arthritis—develop regardless of whether a cat goes outdoors.
